    Witty, full of humour and tackling real issues in a no-nonsense way. If you don’t mind laughing out loud on public transport, then definitely give this podcast a listen. Hosted by Deborah Francis-White, this tongue in cheek podcast is not only enjoyable to listen to, but also something to learn from with healthy debates about hot topics.
  2. My dad wrote a porno
    Hilarious. The first word that comes to mind when thinking of this podcast. After discovering his dad wrote a porno Jamie and his two friends, read a different one each week and pick it apart. It is witty, funny and a little bit cringe.
  3. Desert Island Discs
    The popular Dessert Island Discs have been migrated over for podcast listeners for a while now and there are countless inspirational guests, who give an insight into their lives. With the likes of Brian May, Stella McCartney and Bruce Springsteen amongst the extensive list of guests, these are worth a listen and are perfect for a long commute.
  4. When life gives you melons
    Something light-hearted and relatable. Giving advice and sharing opinions on real-life scenarios that we have all experienced at one time or another. Hosted by radio DJ Maya Jama, she is down to earth, funny and the guests bounce off each other which makes this podcast very easy listening. 
  5. The Naked Scientists
    Our final suggestion is something a bit different. If you are into science then this is perfect for you. Every week is a different interesting topic of conversation. It is easy to understand and it is great if you’re wanting to learn something new.
