Iconic Canadian café and bake shop chain, Tim Hortons®, is set to open in Birmingham city centre, on Thursday 22 November, giving Brummies the chance to taste Canada’s favourite coffee.
Located on the busy corner of New Street and Lower Temple Street, the Birmingham location will be the first Tim Hortons® restaurant to open in the Midlands.
On opening day, the first 100 people in the queue will receive a free lunch meal once the doors open at 12pm, and the first person in line will be gifted with a year’s supply of free Tim Hortons® famous brewed coffee. That’s two cups a day for a whole year!
As well as its signature brewed coffee, Canada’s much-loved café and bake shop is renowned for its unique French Vanilla and Iced Capp® beverages, a wide range of classic baked goods and of course, Timbits®, their famously delicious bite-sized doughnuts.
For something with a bit more sustenance, there will be a range of light and hearty breakfast options, well as a variety of lunch items such as sandwiches, wraps, paninis and toasties. All made-to-order from quality ingredients.
The first Tim Hortons® in the U.K. opened its doors in Glasgow in June 2017 to huge fanfare, with fans travelling from across the country and queuing overnight to sample the Brand’s famed coffee and baked goods. As Tim Hortons® rolls out nationwide, a further 17 restaurants are now serving guests in and around Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and Belfast with excitement levels showing no signs of dropping.
Kevin Hydes, Chief Finance and Commercial Officer of the Tim Hortons® franchise in the U.K. said: “We are excited to be opening the doors to our brand new restaurant in the heart of Birmingham city centre. There has been a huge demand for Tim Hortons® in the Midlands so we looking forward to bringing a little piece of Canada to this fantastic city and welcoming new guests to Tim Hortons®”.
We will see you first in line on the 22nd!
